Video installation

Glossolalia, an artistic creation by Joana Patrão and Tiago Madaleno, is a video and sound installation based on a fictional premise: a couple unable to share a home decide to pursue the idea of home in their car journeys.

In transit, between the monotony of the road and the synesthetic experience of ecstasy, a journey emerges, detached from any itinerary, where two characters seek to bridge the distance between them through playful experimentation, improvisation, and an attention permeable to the elastic time of shared experience.

The exhibition proposes an imaginary, fragmented journey, in which the representation of a desire gives way to an infinite film that prefers to last rather than burn.
